Jay-z Song Debut Wasn't Planned

Rap mavin JAY-Z had no intention to attain the leg at KANYE WEST's recent New York show - but felt obliged to after the STRONGER hitmaker requested his presence.


Jay-Z debuted a new song, titled Jockin' Jay-Z (Dope Boy Fresh), from his forthcoming Blueprint 3 album at West's concert in Madison Square Garden final week (begs04Aug08) - a track which West produced.


The tune was a big reach with fans at the gig - but the 99 Problems star admits the appearance was an impromptu one, as he'd just planned on attenuation into the background to watch West's highly acclaimed Glow In The Dark set.


He says, "I really went to realise his show. I walked into the dressing room and he (West) was like, 'Let's do this'. I couldn't tell him no, it was his show."

After the Replacements' death in the early '90s, bassist Tommy Stinson formed a new plan called Bash and Pop, which released a single record album, Friday Night Is Killing Me. Since the track record album was written all by Stinson in his noodle, it wasn't a truthful isthmus exploit, or a rocking unitary for that subject, which became apparent when he tried to enlistment for the album with a new assembled striation. He decided to assign his first post-'Mats be after to rest, and presently formed the more typically Stinson-like band Perfect. Stinson signed on as bassist for Axl Rose's unexampled rendering of Guns 'n Roses and rationalize a solo record album, patch Phillips worked with Frank Black, Solomon played with Clumsy and Solly, and Gersh open a barrel gross revenue and rental strong. A remixed and resequenced version of Seven Days A Week, retitled Once, Twice, Three Times a Maybe, was in conclusion released by Rykodisc in 2004.

Matthew McConaughey photographer claims that surfers attacked him








MALIBU, Calif. - A paparazzo trying to photograph Matthew McConaughey at a Malibu beach says a mob of surfers attacked him and threw his camera in the ocean.

The 29-year-old photojournalist told sheriff's deputies that a group of surfers demanded Saturday that he and other paparazzi stop taking pictures and filming.

The celebrity Web site TMZ.com posted a video Sunday showing about a dozen young men in swimsuits yelling and swearing at what appears to be a group of paparazzi.

A scuffle breaks out after one of the photographers exchanges insults with the group and at first refuses their orders to leave.

A native of Hannah, SC, deep-voiced Josh Turner collapse on the country fit in 2003 with the powerful "Long Black Train," a song Turner had scripted later listening to a Hank Williams box set. Tyler Perry - Perry Distances Himself From Cousins Film


Actor/director TYLER PERRY has threatened legal action against his producer cousin MARLON CAMPBELL - after he used the star's name to help promote his own film OBLIVIOUS.

Campbell claims Perry's lawyers sent him a letter warning him against name-dropping to try and raise the profile of his own movie.

According to website TMZ.com, the letter says any connection linking Perry to Oblivious is "intentionally misleading" and "wrongfully infringes up the economic value of Mr. Perry".
